Chrome Adblock 2025. Manifest v3 is a new set of guidelines for chrome extensions, which could change the way ad blockers function. As of right now, ublock origin does work on chrome as the developer has a workaround.

Google chrome will be shutting down its older, more capable extension system, manifest v2, in favor of exclusively using the more limited manifest v3. Come 2025, it could be that chrome and chromium browsers might only have access to the lite version.
